The enhancement of productivity and financial results is a primary priority of organisations. Improving the level of employee engagement via practices such as increased workplace flexibility is one of the primary trends. Motivating staff with these sorts of methods may have a positive influence on both productivity and profitability. One other alternative is within the realm of organizational behaviour management, which employs a method that is more scientifically based in its approach to the accomplishment of commercial objectives. According to Psychological Services, a publication of the American Psychological Association, organizational behaviour management (OBM) is the application of behavioural principles to individuals and groups in business, industry, government, and human service settings. OBM stands for organizational behaviour management. The field of organizational behaviour management (OBM) has been described as “the junction of behavioural science and improvement in organisational contexts.” Occupational behaviour management (OBM) has its origins in the study of applied behaviour analysis (ABA), which researches and develops methods to generate socially important behaviour in a broad variety of settings and contexts including behavioural issues. One of the three subfields that make up behaviour analysis, sometimes known as the “science of behaviour,” ABA stands for applied behaviour analysis. Applications for organizational be haviour management, or OBM, may isolating, analysing, and modifying the environmental factors that have the greatest direct impact on performance. Practitioners now have access to specific therapies that allow for successful behaviour modification within corporate settings.
