Abstract

Learning for adults has indeed been defined by an individual as well as the contextual views on how we interact with the adult learners. We first outline assumptions and key concepts but also ideas which have developed from every of these primary views, depending on a careful assessment of literature. From a group of the full-time 18- to 22-year-old students, Population of College has evolved into a much more diversified group that often works part- or even full-time, has much more family responsibilities as well as is over 24, and is still managing many conflicting obligations while attending college. As a result of this transition, academics are taking a closer look at the obstacles which adult students confront in their quest for a college degree. Accurate and up-to-date empirical data on the challenges experienced by th adult learners who really are pursuing the college degree are goal of such integrative literature review. The study also provides education administrators with some ideas for assisting their adult students in overcoming the challenges they experience.
